Rev. Lawrence Gill Receives Overwhelming Vote of Confidence

Pastor Larry Gill has just completed 18 years of pastoral ministry at Swartz Creek Church, and the congregation has given him an overwhelming vote of confidence in asking him to stay as pastor for the next four years.

On February 14, District Superintendent Stephen Anthony conducted a regular pastoral review recall vote for Pastor Gill and he received over 85% asking him to continue on as pastor. Pastor Gill gave his acceptance of the vote and a generous love offering was received for him and his wife Stephanie.

His call will continue through January of 2014.

During Rev. Gill’s ministry at Swartz Creek the church has purchased additional land, remodeled the sanctuary, and added a large educational wing. Many have come to know Christ under his ministry.
