News From Around Our Great District |
We have come to a place in our world where we think everything has to be new and clever. Yet some of the best things are those that have stood the test of time. With all of new worship styles and choruses that have become the norm in so many churches today, no one has been able to improve on the story of Easter. Easter is what makes the church’s message unique. It is simply that Christ is risen from the dead and because He lives, we will live also for eternity. It is as new and exciting to hear the words today as it was when these words were first spoken; “Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen…” Marilyn and I want to wish you and your family a very Happy Easter. We join you in celebrating the Good News of the resurrection of our Savior and soon coming King. Dr. Stephen T. Anthony
